Is a Master's in Project Management valuable to employers, or should I do PMP after gaining experience?

A Master's demonstrates depth and academic rigour; PMP demonstrates practical, standardised delivery competence and is widely required in job ads. For most delivery-focused careers (e.g. EPC/Oil & Gas), gaining experience and adding PMP is the faster, more recognised route — a Master's is optional depth.
