An Equipment Inventory is a structured register of every physical asset a project or organization owns, tracking each item's identity, condition, location, and assignment. It underpins maintenance scheduling, depreciation reporting, and loss prevention by giving a single source of truth for what you have and where it is. Without it, teams over-purchase, miss calibration dates, and lose track of high-value tools.
It's part of My QMS, MyPMP's Quality Management System: fill it in online, personalize it with your name and logo, then export a clean, branded PDF. Your work auto-saves in your browser.
The interactive form above gives you:
Walk each location physically, scan or verify every asset tag against the register, and flag missing, surplus, or misassigned items for reconciliation. Update status, condition, and location fields as you go rather than after the count.
An equipment inventory tracks operational details like location, condition, and custody for day-to-day management, while a fixed asset register focuses on financial data such as capitalization, depreciation, and book value. Many organizations link the two so one physical item maps to one accounting entry.
Assign each item a unique, sequential or category-coded ID and attach a durable barcode, QR, or RFID label that survives the working environment. Keep the numbering scheme consistent so the tag alone identifies category, location, or acquisition batch.
Membership unlocks white-label export (remove the MyPMP footer), cloud sync across devices, plus all apps & ScheduleX.
