An Employee Schedule maps who works which shifts, dates, and hours across a defined period, aligning staffing to demand while respecting availability and labor rules. It prevents under- and over-staffing, reduces last-minute scrambling, and gives every team member clear visibility of when they are expected to work. For managers it becomes the single source of truth for coverage, overtime control, and payroll inputs.
It's part of My QMS, MyPMP's Quality Management System: fill it in online, personalize it with your name and logo, then export a clean, branded PDF. Your work auto-saves in your browser.
The interactive form above gives you:
Aim for at least 7β14 days ahead so staff can plan personal commitments; some jurisdictions with predictive-scheduling laws require 14 days' notice and premium pay for late changes.
Set a clear request cutoff and require manager approval before a swap is final, then update the master schedule so hours and coverage totals stay accurate.
They largely overlap; a roster typically lists who covers each shift slot, while a schedule adds individual detail like hours, breaks, and weekly totals used for payroll and compliance.
Membership unlocks white-label export (remove the MyPMP footer), cloud sync across devices, plus all apps & ScheduleX.
