About the Stakeholder Map template
A Stakeholder Map is a visual grid that plots the people and groups affected by your project according to their power and interest, so you can prioritise engagement and tailor communication. Mapping stakeholders early surfaces hidden influencers, blockers, and sponsors before they can derail delivery, and keeps your engagement effort focused where it changes outcomes.
It's part of My QMS, MyPMP's Quality Management System: fill it in online, personalize it with your name and logo, then export a clean, branded PDF. Your work auto-saves in your browser.

FAQ
What is the difference between a stakeholder map and a power/interest grid?οΌ
A power/interest grid is the specific 2x2 matrix scoring influence against interest; a stakeholder map is the broader exercise that can use that grid plus engagement levels, concerns, and actions.
How do you decide which quadrant a stakeholder belongs in?οΌ
Score their ability to affect the project (power) and how much the outcome affects them (interest); high-high stakeholders are managed closely, while low-low are simply monitored.
How often should a stakeholder map be updated?οΌ
Review it at each phase gate or major milestone, and whenever roles, sponsors, or organisational priorities change, since influence and interest rarely stay static across a project.
