About the Construction Management Plan template

Who is responsible for preparing the Construction Management Plan?οΌ
The principal contractor or construction manager usually prepares the CMP, often with input from the client, project manager, and design team. On planning-conditioned projects it may need local authority sign-off before works begin.
What is the difference between a Construction Management Plan and a Construction Phase Plan?οΌ
A CMP covers overall delivery, logistics, and coordination across the project, while a Construction Phase Plan (under CDM regulations) focuses specifically on managing health and safety during the construction phase. They overlap on site controls but serve different primary purposes.
